As I approach the three week checkpoint, it’s starting to hit me just how much I have accomplished and how hard it will be to leave Copenhagen. I’ve been trying to document my time here in pictures, stories and quotes. But sometimes those out-of-focus candids and run on sentences can’t quite capture it all. How am I suppose to explain those 5 minute conversations I have had with people who only speak traces of English? How do I capture biking the streets of Copenhagen in a picture? Which words in a thesaurus will lead me to the right words to capture the city of Bornholm? Or how about the ballet I saw last night narrated in Danish? And the coffee! How do you tell the story of all the coffee.

Jolene_With_BikeThe last three weeks have gone by fast, but I can’t wait to share some of my memories with friends and family back home.  Some of my favorites being: the Bornholm biking trip where I saw a Medieval castle, climbing to the top of the Round Tower to see the city, witnessing famous architecture in person and of course biking the streets of Copenhagen.

Jolene_Sitting_In_ParkBetween the classes and all the tourist attractions, there is never a dull moment. I can’t believe I only have three more weeks before I have to say goodbye.
