As part of DIS, we get to do some pretty amazing things on study tours! One of them was getting to ride an Icelandic horse. Mine was named Kongur, which translates from Icelanic to Kong; or King. I was a bit skeptical going in having never been on a horse before, but let me tell you, he and I became best friends by the end. Even close enough for me to give him a kiss on the neck!☺
