DIS summer students Brenna, Amanda, and Alexa, each came from diverse educational backgrounds, with majors in Nursing, Marketing, and Finance at their home universities. Anders Larsen’s course, The Meaning of Style course, was a creative twist to their academics, and summer time was the perfect opportunity to explore something new.
From the first day until the last, Anders prioritized interactive learning in and outside of his classroom, as the group went on numerous field studies to significant museums, spoke to prominent industry leaders, and traveled to fashion districts and architectural wonders in Copenhagen. By the end of the three weeks, students boasted their contextual understanding of Danish culture and style, as well as the guest lecturers they met along the way. Watch this short video to hear what they have to say, and get a taste of Danish fashion for yourself!
